October birthday? Your phone can get you free pancakes, a free sub, a slice of cheesecake and a beauty gift, all within a short drive of downtown Milford. The catch: most of these rewards only show up if you join the chain’s free loyalty program before your birthday, and some want you to have bought something in the past year.
We checked every reward below against the chain’s own rewards page or program terms on Oct. 1, 2026, and confirmed a working location in or near Milford. Rewards change often, so check the app before you go. And if your birthday is late in the month, sign up today; a few programs need a week’s notice.

More October deals
Aldi’s Halloween totes
Aldi’s site is listing Halloween trick-or-treat bags as of Oct. 1: the Live In Style Halloween Bag in pumpkin, ghost and bat styles for $5.99, and Halloween Collection design-your-own canvas bags (Boo, Trick or Treat, Happy Haunting and more) for $3.99. Aldi’s photos show the canvas bags with fabric markers. The current Finds week, Sept. 30 to Oct. 6, also has woven Halloween baskets for $7.99.
These are ALDI Finds, the limited weekly items, so they sell out and stock varies by store. Online prices on aldi.us depend on the store you pick, so the Milford price could be different. The Milford store is at 238 Boston Post Rd. See the Live In Style pumpkin bag and this week’s ALDI Finds.
AMC: half-price movies Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Those “$8 AMC tickets” posts are real, with one caveat. AMC’s actual offer is 50% off all day Tuesdays and Wednesdays for AMC Stubs members (free to join). The discount is off the regular adult evening ticket price, so it often works out to around $8, but your price depends on the theater. Convenience fees, premium-format and special-event surcharges, and tax aren’t discounted, and there’s a limit of 10 tickets per show date. Stubs members also get 50% off a small popcorn-and-drink combo on those days, in the theater only. AMC’s page doesn’t list an end date and says membership terms can change.
The closest AMC is AMC Marquis 16, 100 Quarry Rd., Trumbull. Milford’s own theater, Cinemark Connecticut Post 14 and IMAX at 1201 Boston Post Rd., is a Cinemark, so the AMC deal doesn’t apply there. Details: amctheatres.com/amcstubs.
