Fire Engine Pizza Co. Trunk or Treat flyer, Saturday, Oct. 24, 2 to 5 p.m., 204 Melba St., Milford

Pop the hatch, string up the lights and fill the bucket. Halloween weekend starts early around here, with five Trunk or Treats in Milford, Orange and West Haven on Saturday, Oct. 24, and Sunday, Oct. 25.

Trunk or Treats are an easy way for little ones to collect candy in one well-lit parking lot, going from decorated car to decorated car instead of door to door. Here’s every one Milford Voice could confirm with the organizers for this year, in order by date. None of them listed a rain date as of Monday, so check the organizer’s page if the weather turns.
